Training is Key! Fairfax County has excellent training facilities. Initial firefighting training is intense, and includes skills like rappelling. Inspiring Children Children enjoy visiting the local fire station, and gain an interest in the activites performed by the on-duty staff. Meeting Challenges Day or night, the on-duty personnel are there to respond to whatever emergency arises.
